They looked intently into each others eyes, neither one daring to voice the thought that held them both in thrall.
Sleep
Robert was an inveterate survivor, but he had been on the mountain for five days and even he had to admit that his resources were flagging. A storm was closing in, and he had an important question to answer. Should he soldier on? Or should he rest before making the final push to the summit?
